Your industry isn't on the list. The work still is.

We work where operational complexity is high and the software hasn't caught up. We've called out a few industries we work in today: Lighting, Manufacturing, and Health & Human Services. But the core we build isn't industry software off a shelf. It adapts to how your operation actually runs, so the way we work carries straight over to yours.

The shape of the work

Every business we've ever walked into eventually surfaces the same three problems.

There is a legacy core: an ERP, a case management system, a homegrown database, an industry-specific platform. It was designed before anyone in the room had heard the phrase "large language model." It still runs the business, and it's also the reason nothing moves quickly.

There is the manual grunt work that has grown up around that core. People copying numbers out of one screen and into a spreadsheet. People reconciling lists by eye. People emailing PDFs to other people who will type them back into another system. Every company has this; most have stopped noticing.

And there are the integrations that don't quite hold: the brittle exports, the overnight syncs that fail on Tuesdays, the data that's authoritative in two places and authoritative in neither.

The vocabulary changes from one industry to the next. The work underneath does not.

What we do

System of record

Eventually, the legacy core has to go. We build the replacement, a modern, AI-ready system designed for how your business actually runs now, rather than how it ran in 2003. This is rarely where we start, but it's almost always where the engagement leads.

Automate

We take the manual grunt work off your team's desks. The copy-paste-into-Excel pattern, the reconciliations, the routing of forms and files between systems that should already be talking to each other. This is usually the fastest, most visible win, and it's often where we begin.

AI agents

Where it earns its keep, we build agents tuned to your processes, your terminology, your competitive edge. These agents stay narrow rather than general-purpose, with a human expert in the loop, because that expert is the point.

For the rest of how we work, follow the links: connecting your existing systems, co-designing the target state with you, and mapping your processes by thinking aloud with AI.

We've done this across very different rooms

Lighting manufacturers and distributors. Industrial manufacturing. State-level health and human services agencies. The technical work rhymes more than the industries would suggest.

A concrete example

The Nebraska Department of Health came to us with a Principal Investigator workflow that lived, effectively, in email threads and spreadsheets. Submissions, reviews, approvals, audit trails, all of it manual, all of it sitting on top of an older system that wasn't going to be replaced any time soon.

Instead of replacing it, we built around it. We automated the grunt work, connected the pieces that needed connecting, and put a human expert in the loop where judgment mattered. The legacy core stayed where it was, and the day-to-day stopped hurting.

Meet the system where it is, take the manual grunt work away first, replace the core when the time is right. That sequence is roughly what every engagement looks like, regardless of what industry is printed on your business card.

Bring us one workflow that frustrates your team.
